Mission tasks
Create a group consisting of 2 to 4 team members and
complete ONE mission together:
UPPER PRIMARY
(Year 4 - 6)
Create a digital animation to educate your peers on one of the SDG Goals.
- Can use any video editing software or application
- Video length: Less than 2 minutes
- Submission: Upload 1 animation video file
- Video format .mp4 or .mov
LOWER SECONDARY
(Form 1 - 3)
Design a minimum 2-level game that educate your peers on SDG Goals.
- Using Scratch application
- Submission: Links to game that has been uploaded on Scratch website
UPPER SECONDARY
(Form 4 -5)
Design a minimum 2-level game that educate your peers on SDG Goals.
- Using Scratch application
- Submission: Links to game that has been uploaded on Scratch website

What do you have to do during the challenge?
REGISTER

Register a student account in eKelas through the Maxis eKelas web portal or mobile app.
Log into your Maxis eKelas account and register your group and members' details "Activity" tab.

Complete a 5 to 10 question quiz to test your prior knowledge on:
- Digital skills relevant to the workshop
- Global citizenship skills relevant to the workshop / competition

Attend a series of 8 workshops during the competition period, Aug – Nov to learn about:
Animation (REGISTER HERE)
1 - Create a storyboard
2 - Create pixel art drawing
3 - Create pixel animation
4 - Add layers in pixel
Game Design (REGISTER HERE)
1 - Create a storyboard
2 - Create game characters
3 - Design your game
4 - Create different levels of difficult

After each workshop, each teams will need to submit a mini-assignment according to the workshop topic.
Once the main task is completed (Video or Game), upload submission entries into eKelas before the mission deadline.

In this session, you will be guided step-by-step as you prototype your animations. | Take a leap of faith to test your animation’s power and capabilities using ARM. Maxis eKelas is an after-school digital learning program designed to improve the academic performance of Malaysian students. Starting from Year 6 up to Form 5, students will learn in fun and engaging ways to improve their understanding in Science, Mathematics, English, Bahasa Melayu, History and various other digital skills topics.
With Maxis eKelas, students can access online video tutorials with experienced teachers and refer to useful content such as notes, exam questions, quizzes, digital projects, as well as participate in various exciting challenges.
Maxis eKelas registration is free and open to all students, can be done through the web portal and mobile application.
